Sheila is responsible for managing primary data collection projects, as well as preparing data, analysis, and reporting. Prior to joining Wilder Research, she worked for the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health in the department of Epidemiology and Community Health on the STORE study, an evaluation of the impact of Minneapolis’ Staple Food Ordinance. She also worked for St. Catherine University with the Montessori Partners Serving All Children initiative, examining the impact of implementing high quality Montessori education to children in underserved communities.
Sheila also has a background in health care, having spent several years providing patient care at Fairview Southdale Hospital. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public health from St. Catherine University. She enjoys being outdoors going on adventures with her son and spending time with family and friends traveling and exploring new places.
