One of the recommendations from this study was to provide assistance to telehealth providers, and this document summarizes and synthesizes telehealth-related lessons learned as shared by behavioral health providers in Minnesota.
In 2021 and 2022, Minnesota Department of Human Services and Wilder Research conducted a legislatively mandated study of telehealth utilization and perceptions among enrollees in Minnesota’s Medical Assistance (MA) program. The study involved surveys, interviews, and focus groups with MA enrollees and interviews with providers.
Wilder Research operates as an independent research unit of the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation. As a nonprofit research and evaluation group, we work with nonprofits, foundations, and government entities to inform decisions and improve lives.
