ReConnect Rondo

ReConnect Rondo was established in 2016 to lead a restorative movement with a revitalized African American cultural enterprise district connected by a community land bridge.

In 2017, ReConnect Rondo partnered with Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health to conduct a Health Impact Assessment (HIA) to inform the planning process for a land bridge in the Rondo neighborhood of Saint Paul. The HIA was conducted by three University of Minnesota graduate students for their capstone project. In 2019, ReConnect Rondo contracted Wilder Research to summarize the results of the student’s capstone project. Wilder Research developed a concise and accessible report that also included broader context and considerations beyond what was identified in the HIA project.  Wilder Research did not conduct the original Health Impact Assessment.
