The 2010 Minnesota Legislature directed Minnesota's Early Childhood Advisory Council to make recommendations on the creation and implementation of a statewide School Readiness Report Card to monitor the state's progress toward the goal of having all children ready for kindergarten by the year 2020. The 2013 reports monitor progress toward the goal. The 2011 report describes the process used to develop report card indicators and the data sources and data collection timelines for each.
