Minnesota State Arts Board: Public Input about FY23 Grant Programs: Findings from Listening Sessions

The Arts Board worked with Wilder Research on public input strategies to gather information that will help them determine which grant programs to offer in the future. Efforts included 15 listening sessions with residents from across Minnesota. Residents were asked about barriers to participating in arts and culture activities.

Informing the Content and Features of a Self-Service Portal and Social Needs Tool: Data Book of Results from a Survey of Minnesotans

As part of the Integrated Services Business Model, DHS is developing a self-service portal and social needs tool that will provide information on available services that are relevant to users’ needs, cultural background, and location. To inform the development of the tool, DHS commissioned Wilder Research to conduct a web survey of Minnesotans to learn about their preferences related to website content and features.

The Arts Board worked with Wilder Research on public input strategies to gather information that will help them determine which grant programs to offer in the future. Efforts included a survey of previous Arts Board grantees and applicants. The survey addressed changes in creative work due to COVID-19, arts and culture offerings desired by their communities, and barriers and future plans for creative work.

A Study to Inform Health Communications Regarding the Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support Program: A Summary of Focus Group Findings for the Minnesota Department of Health

Wilder conducted focus groups with State Employee Group Insurance Program participants who have been diagnosed with diabetes to learn about barriers to participation in Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) and identify communication formats and messaging that will be most effective in increasing participation in DSMES.

Department of Indian Work-Interfaith Action: "Culture Should Lead Us On." Integrated Services Delivery Network Program Development Research Findings

The Department of Indian Work–Interfaith Action partnered with Wilder Research to conduct program development research centered on developing an Integrated Services Delivery Network (ISDN) for the American Indian community in the Twin Cities. An ISDN is a collective impact approach to helping families living on low income achieve their goals through the seamless coordination of supports from multiple human services organizations.

Supporting DeafBlind Children and Youth in Minnesota: Overview of the Data-Informed Strategic Plan

Wilder Research worked with MNCDHH to create a data-informed strategic plan for better supporting DeafBlind children and youth in Minnesota. This summary presents the results of discussions with an advisory group and in-depth interviews with DeafBlind young adults, parents of DeafBlind children, and professionals.
