Title

5/5/22
Body

The Wilder Child Development Center will enhance its capacity to provide trauma-sensitive care for children and families and contribute to systemic change in early childhood education.

The CDC will receive a one-year grant of $115,000 from Greater Twin Cities United Way for the 80x3 initiative, which will work with the early education community to build the capacity of childcare centers and their partners to deliver trauma-sensitive care for children and their families in the Twin Cities. Starting in May, the CDC will be part of a cohort of up to 10 early childhood education centers that engages in training, coaching, peer learning and internal organizational change. The goal is to increase the participating organization’s capacity for trauma-sensitive care and contribute to systemic change for early childhood education.
