Evaluation report from school year 2018-19. The purpose of the report was to document the challenges schools and the district face in serving Hmong students and their families and demonstrate the value of Hlub Zoo for students and families.
Hlub Zoo (pronounced LOO-ZHONG), meaning “love well” and “grow well,” is a culturally specific school-based, trauma-informed, mental health program for Hmong youth provided by the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation. The program serves elementary-age children and their families participating in Saint Paul Public Schools.
