More About Peer Support Services

For Individuals
Non-clinical support to help you discover your strengths and develop your own unique mental health goals. No matter where you are in your mental health path, these recovery-focused activities encourage empowerment, self-determination, and positive decision-making.
For Families
Support for the families of children and youth with diagnosed mental health concerns. Develop natural family strengths, build resilience, and help maintain skills learned from other services. Family Peer Specialists work in homes, at schools, and in the community to promote a child’s positive change and growth.

What to Expect

Intake and Assessment
Your first step is a welcoming conversation where we learn about your needs, challenges, and hopes—so we can recommend the right support for you.
Meet Your Provider
Your Wilder service provider might be a therapist, or a peer, or a counselor, or another type of specialist. Regardless of the title, you will be matched with a compassionate professional whose background and expertise align with your needs – someone who understands and honors your story and lived experience.
Set Goals and Plan
Work with your therapist to set goals that matter to you. Together, you’ll create a personalized care plan to guide your healing journey.
Follow Up
We’ll check in regularly to track progress, adjust your care as needed, and ensure you feel supported every step of the way toward better mental health.
