This report presents findings from the annual evaluation of the MacPhail Afterschool Intensive Strings Program. It covers the 2017-18 school year and looks at student progress reports, academic data, and student and parent satisfaction with the program.
MacPhail created the MacPhail Northside Youth Orchestra as a way for youth who had aged out of the Afterschool Intensive Strings program to continue playing their instrument in a collaborative setting. The 2017-18 program evaluation looked at student outcomes, as well as student and parent satisfaction.
