MacPhail Center for Music has programs for students with limited access to music education and older adults. The evaluations look at program implementation and outcomes.
MacPhail created the MacPhail Northside Youth Orchestra as a way for youth who had aged out of the Afterschool Intensive Strings program to continue playing their instrument in a collaborative setting. The 2019-20 program evaluation looked at student outcomes, student and parent satisfaction, and how well MacPhail supported families during the shift to online rehearsals.
