Julie Brunner, J.D, retired Executive Director of the Minnesota Council of Health plans has served as Chair of Wilder’s Governance committee, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and four years as Wilder Chair of the Board of Directors.
Julie has served as the Deputy Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Health, County Administrator for St. Louis County, and Director of Child Support Enforcement for the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office. She has been active in the health law and administrative law sections of the Minnesota State Bar Association. She currently serves on the board of the Center for Victims of Torture, Portico Healthnet and Hearth Connection. She is also a member of the Health Law Institute Advisory Council of Mitchell Hamline Law School. Julie’s past affiliations include Board Member of the MN Community Measurement; member of the Health Reform Advisory Council of the Minnesota Department of Health AND member of the Harvard University Executive leadership program.
