Research Associate

Julia specializes in data collection, qualitative analysis, and program evaluation, with an emphasis on education equity and access through out-of-school time programs, community education (museums, libraries, etc.), and higher education. She joined Wilder Research in 2019, where she honed her data collection skills while focusing on best practices for surveys, interviews, and focus groups. She now supports and leads a range of projects, continuing to focus on data collection, qualitative analysis, and program evaluation.

Before joining Wilder, Julia worked for nonprofit organizations focusing on youth and education. She facilitated an after-school program for children at People Serving People, a shelter serving families experiencing homelessness, and she worked as a college access coach for high school students with College Possible to address the achievement gap. She also spent a year with AmeriCorps NCCC working for various nonprofit organizations and local governments across the country, particularly focusing on environmental issues. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Elizabethtown College.
