Amanda specializes in connecting people to information. She joined Wilder in 2007.
As a research librarian, Amanda manages information systems to promote knowledge sharing and work efficiency; supports research projects with information searches and strategies; and helps to produce high quality publications by providing writing, editorial, and citation assistance. She prides herself on being responsive and able to assist researchers in any topic area, applying a wide variety of skills and approaches to support their work. Amanda also acts as foundation archivist, managing records related to Wilder’s history to preserve and promote institutional knowledge.
Amanda has a master’s degree in library and information science from St. Catherine University, a master’s degree in the history of art and architecture from Brown University, and a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Gustavus Adolphus College.
