Ruth Buffalo

Ruth Buffalo (She/Her) is a community-focused leader who lives in Minneapolis, MN. As CEO of the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center, she is committed to strengthening communities and creating meaningful opportunities for women, families, and future generations. Her work centers on service, collaboration, and ensuring that organizations respond thoughtfully and effectively to the needs of the people they serve. She applied for Wilder’s Community Equity Program to continue growing as a leader, build genuine connections with other changemakers, and gain new tools to strengthen her organization’s impact. She is especially excited to learn alongside people who share a commitment to equity and community-driven change. Through CEP, she hopes to broaden her perspective, deepen her leadership practice, and bring valuable ideas and relationships back to her organization and community.
