As Public Policy and Community Relations Manager, Mikayla works to further Wilder’s public policy priorities at the local, state, and federal levels. She brings policy and community engagement experience as previous St. Paul and Minneapolis city staff working with elected officials, community organization, and research expertise in whole family systems and criminal justice with the University of Minnesota Extension. Mikayla has a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a BA/s from Concordia University, St. Paul in Community Leadership. She is an alumni of Wilder’s Community Equity Program (2023-2024) and is committed to support community leaders create policy that is approachable and rooted in the community.
