Project Details

Women’s Recovery Services (WRS) is an initiative of the Minnesota Department of Human Services Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division. Grantees across Minnesota provide treatment support and recovery services for pregnant and parenting women who have substance use disorders and their families. The evaluation includes process and outcome evaluations and a cost-benefit analysis.

2024

This report provides a description of women and children served by Women’s Recovery Services programs between May 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023, and outcomes for families during the third iteration of this five-year grant.

2024

The Women’s Integrated Care Hubs 1.0 program expanded the crisis services and enhanced the culturally and linguistically responsive services offered by substance use providers. This final report captures the activities completed through Hubs, lessons learned, areas for future momentum, and a brief description of who was served through Hubs and what families need.

2023

In 2022, the Minnesota Department of Human Services Behavioral Health Division partnered with three Women’s Recovery Services grantees to pilot the Women’s Integrated Care (WIC) Hubs 1.0 program. The program allows grantees to expand the crisis services they offer and to enhance their culturally and linguistically responsive services. The purpose of this study was to learn more about the individuals served by the three WIC Hubs 1.0 grantees by conducting an analysis of historical WRS data.
