The Twin Cities Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is part of a national organization that provides assistance to organizations engaged in the creation of vibrant neighborhoods and communities. LISC introduced the Building Sustainable Communities program in seven Twin Cities agencies. The evaluation of the BSC explores how the model has been implemented in the lead agencies over seven years and discusses lessons learned.
Wilder Research met with lead agencies involved in the Building Sustainable Communities program to learn more about their organization�s work, evaluation goals, and community context. Agencies include Hope Community, Backyard Initiative, Backyard Road Corridor Collaborative, East Side Prosperity Campaign (ESPC), Frogtown-Rondo Action Network (FRAN), Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ), and Native American Community Development Institute (NACDI).
