Active Living for All (ALfA) is an initiative funded by the Center for Prevention at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. Wilder Research worked with initiative grantees to evaluate their work in promoting active living in their communities.
This summary describes the Summit University Planning Councils’ work from 2013-2018 to improve walkability, safety, and accessibility in two Saint Paul neighborhoods. It includes their accomplishments, factors that contributed to their success, project challenges, and plans for the future.
