Le Sueur-Waseca Public Health used funding from the Minnesota Department of Health’s Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP) for multiple initiatives in their service area. Efforts included tobacco-free worksite and parks initiatives, increasing access to nutritious foods in schools, and an initiative to encourage new mothers to breastfeed their babies. Reports provide information on the impacts of the initiatives. Wilder Research worked with multiple SHIP grantees across the state of Minnesota.
