In 2024, the Minnesota Legislature appropriated funding for the Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) division to form the Motor Vehicle Registration Compliance Working Group.
The working group was tasked with identifying and evaluating potential methods for enforcing registration compliance. Wilder Research supported working group facilitation, conducted data collection and data analysis, and authored this Legislative Report.
