Supportive housing service models have evolved significantly over time, and Wilder’s longitudinal study of supportive housing includes both programs that have clear expectations for resident behavior and activity (high-demand models), as well as programs that place only modest demands on residents (low-demand models) as a condition for ongoing tenancy.
