Wilder Child Development Center, a full-time early learning program in Saint Paul, provides an enriching, high-quality educational experience for children age 16 months to 5 years. The CDC offers parents whose children attend the center additional support services and referrals to foster family wellbeing. To understand the experience and impact of the Family Services on families, Wilder Research surveyed parents about the direct supports and referrals they received, the helpfulness of those supports and referrals, and their impact on family stability and wellbeing. Results show that parents are utilizing the supports and referrals offered through the CDC, particularly those related to childcare assistance, and find them helpful.
