Minnesota and Reservation Homeless Studies

Erica Leversedge

Erica Leversedge (She/Her) is a lifelong learner who believes the strongest communities are built through thoughtful leadership, informed public policy, and meaningful relationships. Guided by curiosity and a desire to understand complex issues from multiple perspectives, she is committed to advocating for practical solutions that improve people’s lives.

Professionally, Erica most recently supported an international trade program, coordinating projects and fostering collaboration across organizations and sectors. She enjoys bringing structure to complex work, connecting people with shared goals, and turning ideas into action. Erica’s Haida heritage is one of the many influences that has shaped her perspective and reinforced the importance of listening, stewardship, and community. She believes our differences strengthen public dialogue and that the best policy decisions are rooted in respect, collaboration, and a commitment to serving everyone.

She joined the Community Equity Program to deepen her understanding of Minnesota’s policymaking process, broaden her perspective, and learn alongside others who are equally committed to strengthening their communities. Her goal is to lead with curiosity, listen with intention, and serve with purpose.
