Amanda specializes in connecting people to information. She joined Wilder in 2007.
As a research librarian, Amanda manages information systems to promote knowledge sharing and work efficiency; supports research projects with information searches and strategies; and helps to produce high quality publications by providing writing, editorial, and citation assistance. As part of the library team, she prides herself on being responsive and able to assist researchers in any topic area, applying a wide variety of skills and approaches to support their work. Amanda also acts as foundation archivist, managing records related to Wilder’s history to preserve and promote institutional knowledge.
Amanda has a master’s degree in library and information science from St. Catherine University, a master’s degree in the history of art and architecture from Brown University, and a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Gustavus Adolphus College.
