Blake is dedicated to communicating the amazing work of Wilder Research and our partners with the world. He’s passionate about sharing the stories behind the research and turning complex concepts into content that’s clear, concise, and galvanizing. Blake joined Wilder in 2025.
Prior to joining Wilder, Blake spent 12 years at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity growing his communications career. He specialized in publications, led communications strategies for complex campaigns, developed inspiring programs for events, and shared the stories of Habitat’s people.
Blake has a bachelor’s degree in biology and English writing from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He’s an avid fiction reader, a new crochet enthusiast, and loves doting on his dog (Thomas) and cat (Kevin).
