Jackie Turner is Chief Operations Officer at Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) and oversees student placement, facilities, department of security & emergency management, community education, nutrition services, department of transportation, technology services, policy, and planning. Prior to this role she served as Chief Engagement officer and Family Engagement and Community Partnership Executive Director at SPPS.
Jackie received her Superintendent Licensure Certification from Mankato State University and also holds MA in Public Administration from Metro State University and MA in Business and Economics from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
Jackie also serves as Executive Member of the St. Paul Children’s Collaborative, Board Member (Vice President) of Scholars COPE Project of Minnesota, member of the St. Paul Mayor’s Education Leadership Team, former member of the St. Paul Promise Neighborhood Leadership team, Finance and Economic Development Advisor of the Christ Temple Church Board, Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and member of National Association of Colored People (NAACP) St. Paul Chapter.
