To inform the design and development of the study, we reviewed existing information sources about telehealth in Minnesota, as well as peer-reviewed academic literature. This summary provides an overview of relevant findings across four categories: access to care, quality of care, health outcomes, and client satisfaction.

Project Name

In 2021 and 2022, Minnesota Department of Human Services and Wilder Research conducted a legislatively mandated study of telehealth utilization and perceptions among enrollees in Minnesota’s Medical Assistance (MA) program. The study involved surveys, interviews, and focus groups with MA enrollees and interviews with providers.
