Project Name

Research study to understand the impact of the ABAWD (able-bodied adult without dependents) waiver expiration on Minnesota SNAP recipients. Wilder Research interviewed community experts who are familiar with SNAP (previously known as “food stamps”) and analyzed information collected through listening sessions with homeless adults to gain their insight on the reinstatement of work provisions for SNAP ABAWDs, the process used to communicate the policy change, and barriers to receiving SNAP benefits.
