This summary presents information about key community metrics used by the East Metro Mental Health Roundtable to track progress in mental health care in the Twin Cities East Metro area. The goals of the Roundtable, a collaboration of law enforcement, social service agencies, health systems, hospitals, and others, are to reduce barriers to patient flow between hospitals and community services, better match available resources to needs, and reduce gaps in the continuum of care in East Metro health services. Metrics tracked include emergency department visits, hospital behavioral health admissions, Urgent Care utilization rates, and lengths of hospital stays.
