In Minnesota, Native Americans experience homelessness at a much higher rate than other racial or ethnic groups. This disproportionality is related to a long history of systemic discrimination and cultural suppression. Repairing this damage requires a thoughtful, coordinated, cross-jurisdictional approach. Whether you are assessing impact, identifying needs, or planning for the future, our team is ready to collaborate and discuss which services best meet your research and evaluation needs.
Our team will collaborate with you to design a project that meets your research and evaluation needs. We work with local and national partners on program evaluations, needs assessments, environmental scans, literature reviews, economic analyses, and more. Our goal is to give you the information you need to make data-informed decisions.
Research and evaluation must be grounded in community—guided by and presented for the people most impacted by findings. We approach all of our work using a community engagement framework, partnering with communities to understand strengths, opportunities, and service needs and inform action for effective solutions.
Let us gather the data you need in a way that works for you and the people you support. Our services include qualitative and quantitative approaches like web, mailed, telephone, and intercept surveys; focus groups, discussions, and talking circles; and facilitated activities to gather data, such as ripple-effects mapping and arts-based approaches. We use culturally responsive approaches and offer multi-lingual data collection.
Our analysts will help you make sense of your data. They have expertise in data set cleanup and integration and a variety of statistical analysis methods.
Our thoughtfully designed activities and facilitated discussions will help you and your organization use data to make important decisions. Services include strategic planning, data parties, and theory of change and logic model development.
Our team will work with you to develop products tailored to your needs. We use plain language, graphics, and visualized data to create easy-to-understand research findings for any audience. Products include issue briefs, summaries, reports, infographics, and arts-based deliverables; final products can be formatted to meet accessibility standards.
Our workshops, training, consultation, and coaching will help you increase your organization’s capacity to design and carry out evaluation. Contact us for support with your research and evaluation needs!
Our research and evaluation work is collaborative, field-building, and informed by the individuals and families that we serve. See examples of local and national work guided by Wilder Research below.
