The American Swedish Institute (ASI) contracted with Wilder Research to facilitate organizational learning in regard to audience development, evaluation capacity building, and neighborhood engagement.

Wilder Research conducted a field scan of craft and food programming that is closely aligned with ASI’s Nordic Handcraft and Nordic Table programming. The purpose was to provide ASI with a comprehensive account of other organizations’ craft and food offerings, terminology around programming, and program structures like cost and duration. This infographic presents a summary of the results.
Wilder Research conducted surveys and interviews with people who participated in virtual versions of their Nordic Handcraft and Nordic Table workshops to learn about their experiences.
From September-October 2021, Wilder conducted interviews with representatives from organizations that are located in or nearby ASI’s neighborhood: the Phillips West neighborhood of Minneapolis. These interviews sought to identify how ASI can support or partner with neighborhood organizations.
