Dan leads the design and implementation of the data collection process and supports other research staff to maximize the quality and efficiency of our data collection projects. He joined Wilder in 1998.
He has experience with both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, but his expertise and passion is with quantitative survey methods. Dan has over 25 years of experience conducting mail, web, and phone surveys. He is fluent in the use of multiple web survey platforms and data collection tools.
Dan has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
He is a member of the Wilder Internal Review Board and has volunteered in the Saint Paul community through Wilder for over 20 years. Dan is a member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research and stays on top of the latest trends and tools used in the world of survey research.
Dan enjoys the many outdoor activities that Minnesota has to offer, including hiking, camping, and fishing. He is also a connoisseur of live music and a collector of vinyl records and compact discs.
