Project Details

Prepared for Trellis (formerly the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging, Inc.), this study examines the effectiveness of different approaches to providing home-delivered meals.

Project Reports

April 2012

Trellis supports several local organizations that provide home-delivered meals to people in need of nutritional support. In 2011, these providers delivered more than 167,000 meals to 1,472 clients. Wilder Research examined the effectiveness of different models for providing home-delivered meals. Key findings show that movement toward more diverse models of service provision has not had serious or negative consequences for consumers.
