Stacey Brooks (she/her)

Community Equity Program Assistant

Stacey Brooks serves as the Community Equity Program Assistant responsible for administrative and logistics supports to ensure partners, program participants and alumni have a seamless experience. Stacey has a long history of non-profit work and volunteering in higher education institutions, civil rights organizations, and the public school, homeless, and recovery communities. She is also an active volunteer in her church, serving on the Missions and Communications/Media teams.  Stacey is a proud St. Paul native with roots in the Summit-U and Rondo neighborhoods. She graduated from St. Paul Central, attended Hampton University, and went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a BA in History. She is passionate about service work and comes to the Public Policy Team with a desire to learn more about the legislative process in order to personally engage and then enlist her community members to help make transformative community changes for the community, by the community.
