Mariana Quiroga joined the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation board in 2023. She bring experience as a business executive with 25+ years of practice across for- and non-profit organizations and as a volunteer at Wilder’s committees since 2019. She also brings a personal connection to Wilder’s mission and the families served, as an immigrant from Latin America and a resident of Minnesota since 1999.
Mariana is currently the Sr. Director of Marketing at Children’s Minnesota, overlooking efforts to all patients, families, donors, community partners and affiliated health-care providers of the two hospitals and nine clinics of the organization. Previously she held director and managerial positions at the Walker Art Center, 3M, Caldrea (now a SC Johnson company) and General Mills. Mariana has a Master’s in Business Administration from Northwestern University (Illinois).
Mariana’s community engagements are focused on social causes: besides her involvement with the Wilder Foundation, she spent some years volunteering in the Marketing & Communications Committee for Aeon (affordable housing), served for 4 years as a local leader for No Kid Hungry (hunger relief fundraiser), and is a former board member of PPL – Project for Pride in Living.
