As an experienced perinatal support professional and an applied researcher, Jenna is especially passionate about maternal health and the impact of health systems on pregnant and postpartum people. Jenna joined Wilder in 2022.
She has deep expertise around health care accessibility, patient and provider experience, community approaches to health care, as well as Medicaid. Some of her recent clients include the American Cancer Society, The Hope Foundation for Cancer Research, Portico Healthnet, and the American Brain Foundation. Jenna’s research and evaluation experience spans process evaluation to impact evaluation, and her favorite methods focus on qualitative data collection and community engagement.
With a Master of Research and a dual Bachelor of Arts in English and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen, and more than five years as a birth and postpartum doula, Jenna’s professional and practical experiences make her a unique researcher for health systems, community-based care organizations, and those invested in the social drivers of health.
