Volunteers of America Texas developed the Second Chance Mentoring Program which matches incarcerated mothers with community members for one-on-one mentoring during incarceration and after reentry. Wilder Research evaluated the program by conducting a review of program documents and speaking with mentors, mentees, program partners, and staff members.
