Our community safety and justice evaluation and research focus on programs, policies, and systems that address:
We approach this work by uncovering the root causes and systemic factors that shape community safety, with a focus on populations that are underserved, overlooked, or negatively affected by existing systems. At the heart of our work is the belief that everyone affected by crime deserves to be treated with dignity and to have access to the resources needed to repair harm, heal, and move forward.
We recognize that involvement in these systems can have lasting effects on individuals, families, and communities, highlighting the need to understand and address them.
