To answer questions about how Indigenous children and families are doing as a result of the Preschool Development Grant, Wilder Research conducted a story collection method, called storybanking, in which parents and caregivers were invited to share stories about what was important to them in their parenting/caregiving arc. This booklet is a short collection of the major themes and stories.

Project Name

The State of Minnesota was awarded a federal Preschool Development Grant Birth through 5 (PDG B-5) Renewal Grant in late 2019. The PDG B-5 aims to align and coordinate multiple systems for families with children, prenatally through age 5, including American Indian families.
