Corridors of Opportunity
This is a Twin Cities regional project to ensure that transit lines are planned with related developments (including jobs and affordable housing) so as to benefit low-income residents equitably as part of the overall economic development of the region. The interim report provides early observations relating to the initiative’s systems change goals. A report also collected feedback from stakeholders about the grant review and decision-making process used for distributing grant money to community-based organizations.

Community Needs Assessment for Ramsey and Washington Counties
Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties focuses on bringing together resources to reduce poverty. A community needs assessment was conducted with low-income residents; the survey asked about employment, housing, education, health, safety, and other family needs and included questions about Community Action services. The report also presents poverty data for Ramsey and Washington counties.

Initiative Foundation of Central Minnesota, Strengthening Communities Grant (2011)
In late 2009 Central Minnesota’s Initiative Foundation was awarded a Strengthening Communities Fund grant by the U.S. Administration for Children and Families. The purpose of this grant was to build the organizational capacity of faith- and community-based nonprofits working in the Foundation’s 14-county service area. This evaluation report assesses the success ot the grant work.

Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood Community Assessment
Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood is an initiative to ensure all children have the resources they need to succeed. The Promise Neighborhood encompasses a 250-block area in the Summit-University and Frogtown neighborhoods. The purpose of the Community Assessment was to understand the living conditions, needs, and strengths of families with children who live in the the Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood.
