Project Common Ground brought together students and teachers from urban and suburban classrooms at Wilder Forest in Marine-on-St. Croix, Minnesota. The activities focused on diversity in human society and in the natural world; learning to work as a team with diverse members; and developing the ability to think critically. This summary presents the results of program evaluations from 1995 to 1999, including follow-up interviews with students, their parents, and teachers.
