Barry Bloomgren Jr.
Barry’s work primarily consists of supporting Wilder Research projects with their reporting and analytic needs. Prior to joining Wilder Research, Barry was a project manager and data analyst at Anderson, Niebuhr & Associates, managing and supporting numerous health care related research studies for Kaiser Permanente. His research work has encompassed such areas as care management, chronic conditions, health disparities, and operations research.
A native of Minneapolis, Barry has a diverse public service background in youth mentoring and education programs. Barry has spent the past decade as a volunteer with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities, working directly with youth and families beginning in the East Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis, and presently the West Side of St. Paul. Barry holds a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Augsburg University and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in business administration from Augsburg University.
