Barry Bloomgren Jr.
Barry’s work primarily consists of supporting Wilder Research projects with their reporting and analytic needs. Barry most recently served as a research analyst and consultant, managing and supporting numerous health care related research studies for Kaiser Permanente. His research work has encompassed such areas as care management, chronic conditions, health disparities, and health systems research.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Barry has a diverse public service background in youth mentoring and educational programs. Having served as a research consultant to the National Institute on Media and the Family, Barry has also spent the past 15 years directly engaged with youth and families as a volunteer with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities on the West Side of St. Paul. He holds a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in sociology from Augsburg University.
