2020-2021 Knowledge Compassion Action Events
We invite you to learn about the passionate people, latest research and inspiring stories that drive Wilder's mission and community impact.
Did you know? Every three years, Wilder Research and its partners conduct a statewide study to better understand the top reasons Minnesotans are homeless and barriers to obtaining and maintaining safe and stable housing.
Join us for "Beyond the Numbers: Using Data to Address and End Homelessness" to learn about the Minnesota Homeless Study, happening again in 2021.
Thursday, January 28, 2021 | 12pm - 1pm | Online (Zoom)
Along with our panelists and emcee Brandt Williams of Minnesota Public Radio, you'll learn about the unique ways community members engage with and use the Homeless Study to inform programs, services, policy and funding, and how homelessness is addressed in Minnesota. You’ll come away with an overview of how the study works, its impact and reach, and how you can help to make it happen in 2021!
Meet our emcee and panelists:
- Brandt Williams, Reporter, Minnesota Public Radio
- Michelle Decker Gerrard, Minnesota Homeless Study Director, Wilder Research
- Cathy ten Broeke, Director to Prevent and End Homelessness, State of Minnesota
