Wilder is dedicated to ending the cycle of violence and abuse. Nearly 25 years ago, we launched the Community Assistance Program, now called Violence Prevention and Intervention (VPI) Services, to address violence and abuse issues in the Saint Paul, Minnesota, area.

Wilder became one of the area’s first domestic abuse prevention and intervention program to offer programs for both victims of abuse and those perpetrating the abuse, all under one roof.

Wilder has also pioneered programs for children and adolescents who have experienced or witnessed violence in their families or relationships, as well as culturally specific programs for Hmong Americans. Our programs have become much-replicated models for domestic abuse services throughout the world.
