Building nurturing communities of thriving children

Minnesota Early Childhood Initiative, comprised of coalitions of individuals and organizations in greater Minnesota, has implemented more than 400 projects, programs and activities to improve the well-being of young children. This report identifies model strategies used that address five key building blocks for a nurturing community: strong families, engaged community members, effective and coordinated early care and education, early learning opportunities, and ready schools.
