Krysten Ryba


Research Associate
krysten.ryba@wilder.org

Krysten provides research and evaluation for wide range of human service programs. Prior to joining Wilder Research, she worked as a data analyst for a nonprofit firm in Chicago. 

Krysten’s interests include affordable housing preservation and demographic trends in communities. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from DePaul University and completed additional training in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and project management.

  • Childhood Disrupted: Understanding the Features and Effects of Maternal Incarceration for Volunteers of America
  • A process evaluation of Mentoring Children of Promise; a family-focused youth mentoring program funded by Volunteers of America, Greater New Orleans
  • Minnesota Kinship Caregivers Association; a needs assessment of relative caregivers
  • Associated Ministries of Tacoma Compassion Capital Fund Project; a capacity-building initiative for faith- and community-based organizations in Tacoma, Washington
