Kristin Dillon


Research Scientist

Kristin works on a variety of projects at Wilder Research, including working on an Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug prevention evaluation project and a Salvation Army housing evaluation project.  Prior to joining Wilder Research, she worked at the University of Minnesota studying adoptive families, families living in supportive housing, and families experiencing domestic violence.

Kristin received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota.  Kristin's research interests include family policy, housing insecurity, domestic violence, sexual assault, families in trauma, and non-traditional families.

  • Evaluation, training, and technical assistance for a statewide alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention project
  • Assessment of secondhand smoke exposure of African women and children funded by ClearWay Minnesota
  • Capacity building evaluation with the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery
  • Evaluation of the Columbia Heights after-school programming
  • Study of St. David’s Center’s early childhood education program
  • Evaluation design and capacity building for a multi-site early childhood parenting initiative funded by the United Way
