Kelsey provides research and evaluation for a wide range of health and human service programs.  Her main research interests are the social determinants of health, health disparities, neighborhood effects, and social policy. 

Prior to joining Wilder in 2011, Kelsey worked in a variety of health and social service sector positions including as a health outreach worker in rural California and as a community development intern in Nicaragua.  She has also worked with the HIV positive community, Latino and Somali immigrants, substance abusers, and domestic violence survivors.  She holds a Master of Public Health: Social Epidemiology from University College London and a B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies from Northland College.
