Jennifer Valorose


Research Scientist
jennifer.valorose@wilder.org

Jennifer works on a variety of research and evaluation projects.  She is experienced at study design, project management, logic model development, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, report writing and presentations.  Her research interests include early childhood care and education, environmental health, home visiting, economic development, leadership development, and youth programming. 

Prior to joining Wilder Research in 2008, she worked for Rainbow Research conducting research projects on the following topics: housing and redevelopment, physical activity, tobacco cessation, and adult and youth education. 

Jennifer holds a B.A. in Communication and Mathematics from the College of St. Benedict, and a Master of Public Policy degree, with a concentration in Environmental Policy and Nonprofit Management, from the University of Minnesota Humphrey Institute.

  • Evaluation of the Division of Indian Works’ American Indian Math program for middle school students
  • Evaluation of the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center’s Healing Journey program
  • Evaluation of the Minnesota Visiting Nurses Agency’s teen parent program
  • Study of Invest Early’s early childhood education program
  • Evaluation design and capacity building for a multi-site early childhood parenting initiative funded by the United Way
