Research Associate
denise.huynh@wilder.org
Denise works on a broad range of evaluation and research projects. She first joined Wilder Research as a Survey Interviewer in 2005 while pursuing a B.A. in Anthropology at Macalester College.
Prior to rejoining Wilder in 2010 as a Research Associate, she gained a variety of social services, teaching, evaluation, and research experience. A sampling includes: volunteering as an AmeriCorps member, working in evaluation and research at the Science Museum of Minnesota, and earning a Master of Public Policy from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
Denise has strong interests in immigrant and refugee issues, English Language Learners, at-risk youth, social change, museums, cultural sensitivity, ethnographic methods, and participatory methods. However, if these interests don't strike your fancy, you may always prompt a conversation with her if you mention dinosaurs or potatoes.
